Investment of 3,500,000 Euro in IBS |

IBS has closed an investment round of 3,500,000 Euro with two financial Institutions to support development and global expansion of the new Pulsion, Plasma Immersion Ion Implanter (PIII).
Vizille Capital Innovation, BNP Paribas Private Equity and some private investors are supporting the PIII project at IBS. IBS has 21 years of successful experince in Ion Implant, customer supprt and process innovation. This new funding will accelerate the final phases of development, global marketing and support, and intial production systems of Pulsion.
IBS is postioned to address 20% of the PIII market by 2014.
The first Pulsion tool was unveiled in June 2007 and has enjoyed strong interest from the major semiconductor manufacturers. The unique approach to Plasma Implant provides enabling process capability, higher throughput and a lower CoO. Key applications where Pulsion shows enabling capability are 3D structures and Dual Doped Poly.

BS continues to be your "total ion implantation solution" and is still strongly positioned in spite of these troubled times in the semiconductor industry. The new web site is designed to provide our customers with more detailed information, more frequently updated news and to introduce our exciting new plasma immersion implant product which is called, Pulsion.
IThe key new events since the previous site are:
- the Pulsion® ion implanter exclusively created by IBS based on the PIII technology,
- the opening of IBS Asia in Singapore (see below)
In addition, IBS activities are now organised in 3 business units:
- Ion implanter,
- Plasma immersion ion implantation (PIII),
- Foundry service.
The site is designed to be an extension of IBS philosophy. A clear and efficient structure to allow you to quickly find the information you need: technical pictures with clear texts !

IBS Asia Pte Ltd is now open! |

Having been represented previously by a local representative, we are now pleased to announce the creation of IBS Asia Pte Ltd, incorporated in Singapore.
IBS Asia will be covering the territory of Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea as well as countries in the Asian region.
IIBS Asia aims to enhance IBS service offer as a total ion implanter solution provider in Asia. In particular, IBS Asia will be offering local repair services and our Electronic Lab will offer Rush Service option (24H) or Standard exchange program. In addition, mechanical refurbishment services for ion implanter sub-assemblies such as disks/pads, chucks, gas box will be available as well.
